About the Event
Originating from the historic Santa Rita distillery in the heart of Amatitan, Jalisco, Caballito Cerrero has become a highly esteemed name among agave spirit aficionados. Crafted by a family with over 15 generations of distilling experience, these exceptional spirits embody a deeply traditional tequila-making process—one that values patience, craftsmanship, and unwavering respect for agave. Labeled as Destilado de Agave, their production follows the ancestral teachings of Mezcal and Tequila producers and Agave growers, a tradition upheld for fifteen generations. This tradition emphasizes absolute respect for the quality of a product made entirely from Agave, under the strictest process supervision, using mature and seasoned agaves (a stage reached a few years after the agave quiota) exclusively from the Amatitán region.
The tasting experience offers guests the rare opportunity to explore several expressions from Caballito Cerrero, including their celebrated Azul (Blue Weber agave) and Chato varieties. Each pour reveals a remarkable depth…
